Welcome to Maisie, the trilogy takes the reader through the hardships and joy of Maisie and her three sisters. Their story starts :-
Maisie - The Early Years.
When Maisie and her three little sisters were hidden in the cubby hole under the stairs by their mother, they didn't realise that this would be the last time that they would see her alive.
After the brutal murder of their mother by their drunken father they were forced to live with their uncaring and violent Nana, who through greed for money, first sold the three little sisters and later Maisie.
After being saved by a mysterious tall man in black, Maisie's life becomes one long roller coaster of finding happiness, only to have it snatched away by her vicious and unforgiving Nana.
Can the man in black save her again?
Maisie - The Later Years
After seeing a poorly young girl standing in the rain outside of the vicarage, Maisie brings her inside and nurses her back to health, only to joyously discover that she is her younger sister, Lily. Lily was rescued from her traumatic life by a tall, shadowy figure who sent her to Maisie and then disappeared.
Who is the stranger and what does his appearance mean?
Maisie - The Later Years
The young girl sat huddled in the corner of the dark room. They had tied her to a ring that was set in the wall and had made her sit on a pile of dry hay. She prayed that she would be found.
The man in black had searched high and low for this last girl with his search taking him across the sea to Ireland and the dangerous world of the Irish travellers. After being betrayed by his close friend, for money, will the man get to the girl in time to save her!
