This is the second book in the DCI Edwards series.

     As lightning bolts flashed through the dark stormy night sky, a man dashed across the sodden rain-soaked grass towards the bandstand, that stood in the middle of the desolate park, hoping that it would at least provide some protection from the raging storm.

     As he sheltered from the rain he had no idea that by morning he would be dead. Killed by a vengeful individual who wouldn't give up until all of the people that had dared to cross them had met the same fate.
